The Active Living Coalition is made up of staff, nonprofit partners, city agencies, local businesses, and residents. Our two main nonprofit partners are Bicycle Colorado and WalkDenver. We coordinate with many of the city’s agencies such as the Denver Department of Health and Environment, Denver Public Works, Denver Parks and Recreation, and the Denver Library.

Kacie has been an Athmar Park resident for seven years and spends a lot of time at our three neighborhood parks and gardening in her yard. With a background in public health and nonprofit management, Kacie oversees the overall scope of our project.

Esmeralda has lived and worked in SW Denver for over 18 years. She enjoys being outdoors and getting others outdoors. Meeting new people and connecting with them is really rewarding, so say “Hi”, when you see her!
